Congratulations to Steven and Hannah Bennett who’ve become Sainsbury’s “Best Dairy Farm for Herd Health & Welfare” after their advisory vet nominated them for the pretigious award, to which Steven accounts to a number of factors.
Mastitis cases currently run at 14 per year per 100 cows and they have a calving interval at 360 days.
